With the joint efforts of PADB Bassi Pathana and Govt. of Punjab, a Dairy farming scheme was launched to empower the matric pass women in the state. PADB has sanctioned a loan to establish this dairy farm unit. Farmer is generating a handsome income from this project and with this income she had purchased 40 more milch cows. Now the total strength has increased to 50 milch cows. With this project,  a total of 350 litres of milk is produced in a day and sold to Verka Milk Plant.

Bank provides extra 0.50% rebate to all the women loanees to empower them as well as to encourage them towards nation building.
