Poly Green House

In a Poly Greenhouse, the vegetables are grown and cultivated under controlled environment. This project is situated in Village Halimwala, Tehsil & Distt Fazilka.
The farmer has grown cucumber under this project. This project has been financed by The Fazilka Primary Co-operative Agricultural Development Bank and is running successfully in the Area.
The vegetables grown under the Green House are free from harmful chemicals and other insects. These are high in quality and also bring a good amount to the farmer as these have a high market value.
Before starting the project, the loanee was a marginal farmer. Now he is growing vegetables on a large scale and selling it in all the nearby markets. He has achieved considerable growth.
